Hartford HealthCare, the largest and most integrated healthcare system in Connecticut,has a new opportunity available for a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, to provide Cardiac Catheterization Services in a high volume catheterization lab that has received the Gold Glass Standard for Cardiac Care, at Hartford Hospital, located in Hartford, CT

• A mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities which includes rotation between cath lab prep / recovery and inpatient consults on admitted patients, day of procedure patient management, and initial and follow up consults in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

. Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Connecticut is required.

. Eligibility to be certified as a PA, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) is required.

. 1 year of APP experience, or 3 years of RN ICU experience, or RN cath lab experience is required.
