Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.</p><h3>Responsibilities </h3><p>Direct services, workflow, and resources for assigned long-term care nursing area.</p><ul><li>Develop departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the long-term care health care delivery system.</li><li>Direct forecasting, planning, developing, organizing, implementing, directing and evaluating all clinical services and programs to ensure high quality resident care.</li><li>Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives.</li><li>Prepare and monitor budget(s) and ensures that assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds.</li><li>Coordinate and direct internal and externally-driven audits.</li><li>Monitor admissions, discharges, and transfers to assure appropriate care and compliance with State and/or Federal regulations.</li></ul><h3>Requirements </h3><p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p><ul><li>BLS Provider preferred.</li><li>Registered Nurse preferred.</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.</li><li>Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.</li></ul><p>Work Experience:</p><ul><li>5 years of experience required.</li><li>10 years of experience preferred.</li><li>2 years of leadership or management experience required.</li><li>5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.</li></ul><h3>Additional Preferences </h3><p>No additional preferences.</p><h3>Why Join Our Team </h3><p>Ascension Living is a nationally recognized non-profit senior living provider offering rewarding career opportunities in numerous locations across 11 states and Washington D.C.
